String Orchestra/Full Orchestra Information

In order to provide a challenging and enjoyable music experience for all of our members, our September and November concerts will be performed by our string sections.  They will be playing music from the vast library of string orchestra music that is available.  

Our rehearsals and concerts in the Fall are in direct conflict with the area high school marching band programs but many wind, brass and percussion students who want to perform with YSSW have an existing commitment to their high school marching band program.

Beginning with the January 11, 2027 rehearsal, our winds, brass and percussion members will  be joining us.  See the audition page for more information.
